Fiction Feedback is an independent appraisal service. We are unique (we believe!) in providing a number of reviews at your request; you're not limited to just one. Each appraisal comes from an individual reviewer, written independently.

We use our reviewing skills to:

• broadly analyse your writing
• highlight the strengths
• point up any major flaws
• suggest improvements, where required
• judge whether we think it's of publishable standard

Unlike your family and friends, we are objective.

Unlike a writers' circle, you never meet us, so you don't need to feel shy. Our appraisals cannot be influenced by whether we like you or not!

Unlike writers' websites, we are focused on you and your writing. Our appraisals aren't provided to show off our own writing, or to gain credits, or to sell other services.

Unlike some appraisal services, our critiques are professional, well-considered and in sufficient depth to be really useful.

Unlike many consultancy services, we are not expensive.

Unlike any other appraisal service that we know of, we offer multiple reviews.

How it works
One or more of our reviewers reads an extract of your novel or your other writing and each provides a written appraisal and a checklist of points.

Having appraisals from two reviewers or more is a good idea – more than one opinion is always valuable. The fee is on a gently sliding scale.
