Postal Submissions
1. Typewritten manuscripts sent to us by post are acceptable, with these provisos:
– you must make sure you keep a copy, as we can’t guarantee its safe return;
– please include return postage and SAE for your appraisal(s).

2. We’re afraid our review rates for posted manuscripts are a little higher. This is because handling the manuscript and passing it around reviewers incurs postage and packing costs as well as extra administration time.

Novels up to 15,000 words, Stories between 2,001 & 10,000 words and Plays up to 60 A4 pages double-spaced at 11 point
a) one appraisal: £75
b) two appraisals: £99
c) three appraisals: £125
d) four appraisals: £149

For increased word-count for novels and for longer plays, please contact us with details, stating that you’ll be submitting by post, and we will quote for 1-4 reviews.

Shorter Stories
Stories up to 2,000 words

a) one appraisal: £50
b) two appraisals: £75
c) three appraisals: £95
d) four appraisals: £109

Mini Fiction
Flash Fiction up to 500 words

a) one appraisal: £48

Poetry
a) one in-depth appraisal: £65

3. You’ll appreciate it takes us longer to pass printed manuscripts from one reviewer to another. Please allow 4-6 weeks. If you’re paying by cheque, please note we can’t begin work until the cheque has cleared.

4. Please supply a telephone number on your completed Submission Form, which we need you to print out and send with your manuscript to Fiction Feedback, 3 Dale View, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 3QJ

5. If you’d like to email us and let us know your manuscript is on its way, we’ll keep an eye out for it so there are no delays before we begin reviewing!

6. We’re sorry, we can’t provide appraisals for handwritten manuscripts. However, we do provide a typing service at £11 per 1,000 words. Please email us for details.
