25 Mar R M Dorn Switches from Science Fantasy to Historical Adventure

Rosemary Hagedorn, writing as R M Dorn, has published six science fantasy novels with Lume Books (formerly Endeavour Press).

However, her latest novel is based on the adventures of a true-life character, Colonel Joseph Bampfield who came to prominence fighting – and spying – for the king during the English Civil War. Rosemary discovered his story while researching material for a local history book she’s written  (Arundel at War) and found herself fascinated. She is putting the final touches to the MS and seeking publication for this latest – very different – work.

Over the years, Rosemary has enjoyed input from two Fiction Feedback editors for her science fantasy novels and has been working with editor-in-chief, Dea Parkin, on this historical adventure.
