22 Aug New critique category aimed at submissions

Fiction Feedback has added a new critique service for submissions of the opening of a novel – whether it’s to an agent or publisher, or for a competition.

The word count is a maximum 5,000. This might for instance include 3,000 words of the novel and a 1,500-word synopsis.

Tip: Please do check carefully what word count the agent, publisher or competition wants, and submit accordingly. Don’t assume they’ll be OK with a few words over the specified maximum: it’s often not the case.
